Privacy information
This page explains what happens to the details you send through this website. It is written to match how the site actually works.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you type: your name, email address, business name, what you need, the details you write and, for website or app enquiries, a budget range if you choose to share one.
If you ask about bookkeeping, you can also choose to tell us your type of business, your current bookkeeping software, your approximate number of monthly transactions and the type of support you are looking for. These questions are optional.
The form never asks for bank details, passwords or financial documents, and it does not accept file uploads. Please do not send them through it.
We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry only to reply to you and discuss the work you asked about. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before any agreement.
We do not sell your details or add you to a mailing list.
How it is delivered and protected
Enquiries are sent securely from our server to our inbox through an email delivery service, or to a business system we use to manage enquiries. They are not stored in a database on this website.
To stop spam, the form uses a hidden field and checks how quickly it was completed. Your IP address is used briefly, in memory only, to limit repeated submissions. It is not stored or logged with your enquiry.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and reliability.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to respond and, if we go on to work together, for the length of that work and any record keeping that follows. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Reply to any email from us, or use the enquiry form, to make a request.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
