Bookkeeping support
Keep your books organised. Stay focused on your business.
Practical bookkeeping support to help you maintain clear records and understand your day-to-day business finances.

What we can help with
Six practical services, grouped by the job they do. You choose the support that fits how your business runs.
Day-to-day records
The everyday entries that everything else depends on.
Recording and categorising income and expenses
Each sale and each cost is entered and given a clear category, so you can see where money comes from and where it goes.
Organising invoices and receipts
Invoices and receipts are gathered, named and filed in one place, so any record can be found when it is needed.
Money in and out
Checking the figures against the bank, and keeping track of what is still to be paid.
Bank reconciliation
Your records are checked against your bank statements, so the figures agree and anything missing or entered twice is picked up.
Tracking outstanding customer invoices and supplier bills
A clear list of who owes you, what you owe and when each payment is due.
Month end and handover
A clear picture each month, and records that are ready when your accountant needs them.
See a sample summaryPreparing monthly income and expense summaries
A short summary each month of money in, money out and the difference between them.
Organising records for handover to your accountant
Records arranged so your accountant can find what they need for their part of the work.
Tax advice, audits, statutory accounts and tax return submissions are not included. What this does not include
A clear picture of your month.
Organised records let you see money in, money out and what is still outstanding. This preview shows the kind of information a monthly summary covers. How yours is presented is agreed with you.

Questions about bookkeeping.
Are you an accountant?
No. We are not chartered accountants and we are not a regulated accountancy practice. We provide bookkeeping support: keeping your day-to-day records organised and up to date. We work alongside your accountant, not instead of them.
Can you help with a backlog?
Yes. If your records have fallen behind, a one-off catch-up can bring them up to date. We look at what you have first, then agree the scope and a quote before any work starts.
How is pricing worked out?
Prices are not published because every business is different. A quote depends on how many transactions you have, how often you would like support, and whether it is ongoing or a one-off catch-up. Tell us about your books and you will receive a quote based on your requirements.
How do I share my records?
Please do not send bank statements, receipts or other financial documents through the enquiry form. Once we have talked, we agree together how your records will be shared.
Do I need to use particular software?
No. We can work with what you use today, including spreadsheets, once we have talked through how your records are kept.
Do you provide tax advice or file returns?
No. Bookkeeping support does not include tax advice, audits, statutory accounts or tax return submissions. Those stay with your accountant. We can organise your records so they are ready to hand over.
